This Refund Policy explains when refunds apply, how they are calculated and how to request one. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
01Our promise
We want every client to feel safe enrolling. If our services aren't right for you, we will work with you in good faith — within the boundaries below.
02Cooling-off period (first 7 days)
If you cancel within 7 days of the start of your plan, you are entitled to a full refund minus:
- The cost of your initial consultation (₹1,500), if it has occurred.
- The cost of any cookbook, grocery list or proprietary planning material already shared with you.
- Payment gateway charges (typically 2–3%) — these are non-refundable as they are paid to our payment processor.
03After Day 7 (no general refunds)
Once 7 days have elapsed, plan fees are non-refundable in the ordinary course. This is because:
- By Day 7 you've received a personalised plan, cookbook access and weekly meal architecture — the bulk of the deliverable.
- Our dietitians have committed time slots to you that cannot be re-sold.
- Meaningful dietary change takes 12 weeks. Mid-plan exits work against the very thing you signed up for.
If you are unable to continue, you may instead pause your plan for up to 28 days within the 12-week window (see Terms § 6).
04Exceptional refunds
We will consider a pro-rata refund (calculated from the day of your request) in the following exceptional cases:
- Serious medical event that prevents you from continuing the plan (medical certificate required).
- Pregnancy diagnosed after enrolment, where the dietary plan needs to be entirely re-built — at our discretion you may continue, pause for up to 90 days, or take a pro-rata refund.
- Bereavement or family emergency, on a case-by-case basis.
- Service failure on our part — for example, prolonged non-response from our dietitians despite repeated contact.
Pro-rata refunds are calculated as: (plan fee × weeks remaining ÷ 12) minus material, gateway and consultation costs already incurred.
05What is never refundable
- Free or trial consultations (no fee was charged).
- Referral bonus weeks added to a plan.
- Lifetime free consultations (no fee was charged).
- Cookbooks, grocery lists or other proprietary content already delivered.
- Payment gateway and bank charges deducted at the time of payment.
- Plans purchased on heavily discounted/promotional pricing where the offer terms specifically excluded refunds.
06How refunds are processed
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method, where possible.
- Processing time: 7–10 business days from the date of approval. Your bank may take additional time to credit the amount.
- You will receive a written confirmation when the refund is initiated.
07Chargebacks & disputes
We ask that you contact us first if you have any concern about a charge. Filing an unwarranted chargeback while we are willing to resolve the issue will result in immediate suspension of services and may void your eligibility for lifetime free consultations. Any disputed charge should be raised first by email to support@nutriphysician.in.
08Subscription, automatic renewals
We do not auto-renew plans. Each 12-week plan ends at the 12-week mark unless you actively choose to enrol again. There are no surprise charges.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will always reflect the latest version. The policy in force at the time of your enrolment is the policy that applies to your plan.
